What's new this week -- October 19

Kyler screams for whatever he wants. He is going through a phase that I remember from Kinsey where he sits in his high chair and points and screams for everything he can see in the kitchen even if he has all of the edible stuff on his tray already.

Kyler is also being very jealous of Kinsey. When I need to hold her, he is right there crying to get in my lap too. And even pulling her hair to get her out of the way. Sometimes he saunters by her and grabs her hair without even looking, trying to act so innocent. Too bad the screaming gives it away every time.

Kinsey is thinking about not taking naps anymore -- at least on some days. Toward the end of the day she usually starts crying inconsolably for little or no reason and it isn't fun for anyone by then. When she does take a nap she is soooooo sweet afterward compared to the drama of a no-nap-day.

Kinsey sometimes runs into the room that I'm in because she is afraid of monsters. Tonight we were playing in the living room and she wanted some more food from her bedroom but was afraid to go in there alone. She tried to convince Kyler to go in there with her and he would go in then come out right away and she would come running after without enough time to get her toys. She tried many times to get him to cooperate and did pretty well considering, although she never ended up getting the toys she wanted.
