Kinsey likes to make people laugh ... her great joke (that she came up with on her own) has to do with her map-of-the-US-placemat. She is learning some of the states and Dad taught her North Dakota and South Dakota because she knows that her middle name is Dakota. So he was pointing to the states so she could name them ... "what's that?" "North Dakota!" "What's that?" "South D'Kinsey" Hahahahahahah. Now she does it all of the time for the laughs.
We got out the train set (from Christmas) because I finally found some more trains, and Kyler has been enjoying it. He used to get frustrated when the trains would fall off of the track, but now he pushes them around and around and around the track so happily. He even wants to take the trains to bed and to the store. It has been the big hit for the week -- I think I'll have to hide some of the other toys so that we can make them "new" again next month and get so much more mileage out of them.
Kinsey got the mysterious illness that Kyler had about a week or so ago of fever and lack of energy. So we had a few days of not sleeping well, crying, and lots of Tylenol. It has been a long week because we add Kinsey's illness to Daddy being out of town for a few days for a family emergency, snow, and stress about Kinsey's birthday tomorrow. I'm ready to sleep.
